Star Codes

Vertical Service Codes, also known as Star Codes, were originally developed by AT&T and called CLASS, or Custom Local Area Signaling Services. Star Codes  signal a telephony switch in the central office to access features provided by the local exchange carrier. While many of these features have faded into obsolescence, AVATAVA supports many star codes to make accessing features - especially from phones connected to an ATA - easy and approachable to those familiar with them.
