Softphone

A softphone is an application run on an internet-connected device which mimics the functionality of a VOIP desk phone. These applications may be run on a mobile phone (iOS, Android, etc.), a web browser (Chrome, Firefox, etc.), or a computer as an installed program for instance.

Popular softphone applications are SNAPmobile, SNAPmobile Web, ZoiPer mobile, ZoiPer Desktop, and Bria.
