FXS Foreign Exchange Subscriber

FXS, or Foreign Exchange Subscriber, is a type of port on Analog Telephone Adapters (ATA) and Analog VoIP Gateways which connect a "subscriber," in most cases a telephone or fax machine. This is the type of port which you get from the phone company.
