FXO Foreign Exchange Office

A Foreign Exchange Office Port, is known as an FXO port. FXO is the type of port found on the telephone company side of a telephone line. FXO ports are on the upstream connect of an FXS port and are generally used on a gateway device to provide VOIP service to an analog PBX.
